Objectives:

The contents of this quiz include histological structures and images…
1. Classify the epithelia according to the shape, size, polarity of the cells and stratification.
2. List the functions of the epithelia in general.
3. Given the type of epithelium, infer the function of the tissue, and the organs, thus appreciating the structure-function relationship
4. Enumerate the surface, intercellular and basal specialization of various types of epithelia, correlate them with their specialized functions, and recognize them in the electron micrographs.
5. Given the epithelia of the organ systems, classify them according to their development.

Each quiz contains 10 questions and is time-limited to 5 minutes. Take the quiz multiple times to get different questions out of the pool of 50+ questions.
