Connective Tissue

Objectives:

After the completion of this lab session, students will be able to

1. Identify the major resident cells of the connective tissue, (e.g. fibroblasts, macrophages, adipocytes, mast cells and mesenchymal cells), as well as migrating cells, (lymphocytes, plasma cells, neutrophils, and eosinophils).

2. Identify various types of fibers and correlate their presence with the function of the tissue.

3. Classify the connective tissue based on the composition and organization of the cellular and extracellular components, and describe its specific functions.

Each quiz contains 15 questions and is time-limited to 7.55 minutes. Take the quiz multiple times to get different questions out of the pool of 64 questions.
