Objectives:
After this laboratory session, students will be able to
1. identify arteries, veins, sinusoids and lymphatics from different section profiles
2. differentiate between vessels based on their structure and their and luminal diameter.
3. describe the types of endothelial linings in various types of capillaries.
4. differentiate among the different types of capillaries.
5. compare capillaries to lymphatic vessels, structurally and functionally.
4. identify the different layers covering and forming the heart, relate their tissue composition to function.
Each quiz contains 10 questions and is time-limited to 5 minutes. Take the quiz multiple times to get different questions out of the pool of 50+ questions.
