Objectives:
Once this lab session is completed, students will be able
1. to define the lymphoid tissues: including diffuse tissue, lymph nodes, lymph nodules, thymus, tonsils and spleen.
2. to differentiate the varied histological arrangement among the above mentioned lymph tissues.
3. to describe the circulatory pathways followed in encapsulated lymphatic organs and cells.
4. to compare the relationships and differences observed in lymphatic organs and tissues.
5. to describe correctly the major histological hallmarks among the varied lymphoid organs and tissues.
6. to establish a comprehensive degree of correlation between the different lymphatic tissues and organs with their physiology.
7. to identify accurately the major lymphatic tissues and organs based on their histological appearance.
The contents of this quiz include histological structures and images of lymphatic tissues.
Each quiz contains 20 questions and is time-limited to 10 minutes.
